Spring has come to the rest of the country and we have hit 100+ temps. The tomatoes in the pot on the terrace have begun to ripen. There have been two nests of baby birds under our eves, but now they are empty. And my students have all headed off to their summer adventures.
We've been enjoying Phoebe's daily blog and so I am inspired to find some photos and perhaps a story or two from our lives.
Although the students have left, we are still busy at school. One of the most time consuming tasks I have is to create photo books of all the artwork that was shown in this year's spring show. There are over a thousand pieces, so it takes quite a while. It's a job I enjoy though... Mike says I'll never be done. I expect he's correct and that I'll find another book to create when these are finished. :-) I'll keep attaching some of my favorites here.
